Hawaii experiences white-out conditions as snow falls. MAUNA KEA, Hawaii -- Yes, it even snows in paradise. The summits of famed Hawaii volcanoes Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are getting an early coat of snow this season -- with up to eight inches in the forecast.

Wow, did you JUST learn that it snows in Hawai'i every year? When I worked on the Big Island, I'd often see trucks driving down from the mountain with snowmen in back. Snowball fights at the school weren't uncommon.

“It would be nice to have some of this climate change with all this snow”

HAARP & chemtrails.

at higher elevation yes.

I just came from Hawaii from vacation for the last couple of weeks.Maybe I got back just in time. I was on Haleakala and it was quite cold which I wasn't ready for.I was really really cold. That was around January 31th I think. That was no doubt due to the high elevation and unusually cold weather.

We spent a week on Maui and a week on Oahu.Fortunately we finished off the vacation in Waikiki where the weather was perfect.I called my brother in LA and he said they had a pineapple express with heavy rains all the way from Hawaii to LA.

Last week, I took this picture of a Pacific Golden Plover.I learned that it migrates from Alaska to Hawaii, spending summers in Alaska to fatten up for breeding and the flight to Hawaii only to fatten up and fly back. One day I would love to do that, (not the fatten up for breeding part). It would be great to live winters in Hawaii and summers in Alaska but I digress.I don't think I could do that 3000 plus miles though. My arms are only good for a couple feet at most and that is with a good running start.

Weather, not climate!!!
