The NRA was actually founded in 1871 to help arm blacks against the KKK.

Because it is. Oh and the history of the Democratic Party isn't what you ignorant ******* think it is. Sure the Democratic Party was strong in the south before the war between confederates and union armies BUT what you aren't even mentioning which is a lie is that the Democrats created the KKK. This is a lie. Before that war broke out most Democrats sided with the Union and the Republicans sided with the confederacy. You can thumb this down all you want but it won't change history.
Liberals are not the sharpest tack in the box.
If guns were ever banned than only the bad guys would have them..Why would anyone think the bad guys would turn theirs in?
I also feel schools should have guards
We could use the money we give to countries that hate us,our children are more important!!
Having a gun will not help all the time but being defenseless will never help..
Can you ask the bad guy to wait while I call 911???
Isn't it better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again."
because the NRA is now public enemy #1, unlike the NRA tho the KKK was prime recruitment ground for the Democratic Party!
Because they don't realize that one of the earliest gun rights issues was with trying to give blacks the right to own guns, something that the KKK was fighting against because that would enable them to protect themselves.
They just like to say extreme, untrue nonsense just for shock value. Like the tea party is racist, or Paul Ryan is extreme. To the Liberals I guess paying you bills is extreme, because that's about all Ryan's policies are designed to accomplish
I just blew my top and was about to call you a baldfaced fuckingliar because not even Liberals would be that fvcking stupid.......

then I clicked on the link.

I'll apologize now with all sincerity.

Answer; Liberals are just stupid *sometimes*.
Because Liberals don't have to apply facts, knowledge, logic, reasoning or common sense.

The NRA stand up for the one Right that Liberals don't have a use for.
They obviously know nothing about the KKK.
You're whining about something that happened 2 months ago?
Emancipation? Republican President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation during the Civil War. In 1865, the 13th Amendment emancipating the slaves was passed with 100 percent of Republicans (88 of 88 in the House, 30 of 30 in the Senate) voting for it. Only 23 percent of Democrats (16 of 66 in the House, 3 of 8 in the Senate) voted for it.

Civil rights laws? In 1868, the 14th Amendment was passed giving the newly emancipated blacks full civil rights and federal guarantee of those rights, superseding any state laws. Every single voting Republican (128 of 134 -- with 6 not voting -- in the House, and 30 of 32 -- with 2 not voting -- in the Senate) voted for the 14th Amendment. Not a single Democrat (zero of 36 in the House, zero of 6 in the Senate) voted for it.

Right to vote? When Southern states balked at implementing the 14th Amendment, Congress came back and passed the 15th Amendment in 1870, guaranteeing blacks the right to vote. Every single Republican voted for it, with every Democrat voting against it.

Ku Klux Klan? In 1872 congressional investigations, Democrats admitted beginning the Klan as an effort to stop the spread of the Republican Party and to re-establish Democratic control in Southern states. As PBS' "American Experience" notes, "In outright defiance of the Republican-led federal government, Southern Democrats formed organizations that violently intimidated blacks and Republicans who tried to win political power. The most prominent of these, the Ku Klux Klan, was formed in Pulaski, Tenn., in 1865." Blacks, who were all Republican at that time, became the primary targets of violence.

Jim Crow laws? Between 1870 and 1875, the Republican Congress passed many pro-black civil rights laws. But in 1876, Democrats took control of the House, and no further race-based civil rights laws passed until 1957. In 1892, Democrats gained control of the House, the Senate and the White House, and repealed all the Republican-passed civil rights laws. That enabled the Southern Democrats to pass the Jim Crow laws, poll taxes, literacy tests, and so on, in their individual states.

One person, one vote, majority rule. The founding fathers also knew this as tyranny by the majority, where the minority have no rights or recourse against the majority. The phrase "tyranny of the majority" (or "tyranny of the masses"), used in discussing systems of democracy and majority rule, envisions a scenario in which decisions made by a majority place its interests so far above those of an individual or minority group as to constitute active oppression, comparable to that of tyrants and despots. In many cases a disliked ethnic, religious or racial group is deliberately penalized by the majority element acting through the democratic process.

A Democracy gives us the principles of majority rules and frequent elections with options, but little more. It does not protect us from the government's redistribution of wealth philosophy, which entitles the less productive to get something for nothing. hose receiving are quite pleased with getting something for nothing. But those forced to give are denied the right to spend the benefits of their own labor in their own self-interest, which creates jobs no matter how the money is spent. They also lose a portion of their incentive to produce. A lynch mob is Democracy. Everyone voted including the man being lynched but he was out voted.

Where does the money come from for all the "good" that government does? Answer, out of someone else's pocket. If it is with his consent it is a form of charity. If forced, a form of tyranny. The more and the longer given, the more entitled the receiver becomes until he is quite willing to take to the streets and demand more of other people's money, fully satisfied that he has every right to it. This works until those who have money are destroyed as a class and everyone is equally poor. The result is a diminished standard of living for everyone, as was the case under 20th Century communism.
That is one of their favorite tactics, playing the race card.
Where in the application does it say that?
Because they watch CNN and MSNBC.
