I have thick curly hair and to style it i put mousse and hairspray now its dry and damaged horrible split ends i have to cut my hair rlly short to get rid of them is there any treatment i can do cause i want to straighten my hair but when i do it looks horrible

I have answered this sort of question a million times. Here is what you need to do: a deep conditioning treatment. You can go to a salon if it is extremely bad, or just do it yourself. Go to the store and buy a salon conditioner (nexxus, redken, paul mitchel brands). When you're in the shower, do what you normally do, except after you wash out your shampoo, apply a boat load of conditioner on your hair. DO NOT wash it out. Get out of the shower (with conditioner still on) and leave the conditioner in for a minimun of like 20 minutes. I usually do it for an hour and i do it every single week. At the salon they will basically do the same thing, except put you under a dryer. It helps me!!!(:

Definetley a trim will help! But try protein packs, it'll repair hair really well. It may make your hair feel a little grainy for the time being, but itll do wonder on your split ends. Also, theres a thing called "emergency" by nexxus and its a repair and reconstructer for your hair, it puts in protein fibers and can literally hold your split ends together. Its fairly cheap and available at a normal store and a little goes a long way. Ive worked with that stuff on clients whose hair was breaking off from excessive bleaching, and this had saved their hair. Try this before you cut your hair. and itll look great straightened.
Use main n tailshampoo.. and make sure your hair is completley dry when you straighten it and don't wash your everyday unless your using mouse in that day but if your straightening it everyday its better to wash it every other day.
take care of your hair. don't style it excessively. curly hair is beautiful. put egg is your hair sometimes, massage it with some good oil. try to treat it naturally rather than using various products.
